The moon is half way illuminated and it is still in the waning gibbous stage. I had a hard time finding it this morning because of the thick fog.

Day 8 Observation
I didn't see the moon until this morning because I could not stay up to see it last night. But it was very clear in the sky. It was actually daylight when I saw it and the sun was also out.

Day 3 Observation
The sky was very cloudy tonight and I couldn't find the moon. It rained today and that may be the reason why I could not find it, so I drew what I thought it would like around 9:30p.

Day 2 Observation
Tonight the moon is still full and it is the Harvest Moon! It is so pretty and orange. It is clear in the sky without any clouds. There are also a couple of stars out too.

Tonight is my first night observing the moon. I am glad I started tonight because the moon is in the full moon phase. Tomorrow I predict the moon will still be in the full moon phase.
